A 12-hour performative walk with ritualistic and contextual stops every hour. The walk is born out of an intention to manifest regeneration in the wake of crises through active embodied listening to lands.

The artist is wearing a long black skirt, a versatile garment that morphs with each stop. As the walk progresses, the garment evolves, taking on multiple roles: a sail harnessing the wind, a cover providing shelter, a bed for rest, a fishing net for sustenance, a canvas for expression, a parachute—a life-saving device. With each iteration, the skirt absorbs the power and significance of its function, becoming a repository of accumulated meanings. It serves as a vessel for renewal and illustrates the act of continuous becoming.

The performance shows the trust we place in mechanisms of safety and survival and trust in the potential for healing and regeneration.
